Ports of Normandy was responsible for enabling works for the future maintenance facility serving the Dieppe-Le Tréport offshore wind farm at the Port of Dieppe. The facility was planned in the outer harbour, north of the Gaston Lalitte quay, and included a pontoon capable of accommodating three 27-metre vessels, alongside associated quay-side logistics features. Within this scope, Ports of Normandy prepared the land plot allocated to the maintenance base and delivered all works related to ship mooring arrangements. In addition, Ports of Normandy directed the associated port development works required to support the facility at the interface between the Gaston Lalitte quay and the East pier. The port development works under Ports of Normandy’s direction included rip-rap works, dredging, and pontoon construction. These activities formed part of the enabling infrastructure to make the harbour area suitable for O&M vessel berthing and day-to-day operational logistics for the offshore wind farm’s maintenance base.
