In June 2014, the special purpose company Éoliennes en Mer Dieppe Le Tréport (EMDT) was established as the project vehicle to construct and operate the Dieppe–Le Tréport offshore wind farm, after winning the tender to develop a wind farm off the coasts of Dieppe and Le Tréport. The SPV brought together Engie (31%), EDP Renewables (29.5%), Sumitomo (29.5%) and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (10%) as equity partners, forming the long‑term ownership consortium for the 496 MW project.
