Ocean Winds and its partners reported the successful installation of the first jacket foundation for a wind turbine at the Dieppe–Le Tréport offshore wind farm, located 17 km off Dieppe and 15.5 km from Le Tréport. The steel jacket, fabricated in Spain and staged in Cherbourg, was installed offshore by DEME’s jack-up vessel Innovation on pre-installed steel pin piles up to 63 m long, marking the start of the turbine foundation installation campaign for the 62 planned jackets.
