On Wednesday 6 May 2026 the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm's operations and maintenance base at the Graves de Mer site in Dieppe's outer harbour was officially inaugurated. The four-storey building hosts approximately 80 permanent staff (76% from the local Dieppe area) who will operate and maintain the 62 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines over the project's expected 25-year operational life. Exterior amenities include 36-vehicle parking, pedestrian pathways, heavy-vehicle logistics areas, waste management, and electric vehicle charging stations. The base, developed by Eoliennes en Mer Dieppe Le Tréport (EMDT, a subsidiary of Ocean Winds), follows the 13 February 2025 first-stone laying and a ~15-month construction programme split across 15 work packages awarded to 11 regional contractors located 10-50 km from Dieppe. The inauguration occurred as half of the 62 jacket foundations had been installed offshore and as RTE had completed and handed over the 225 kV grid connection (April 2026), preparing the project for first turbines May 2026 and first power June 2026.
