Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was awarded a firm order by the EDF Renewables–Enbridge–wpd consortium to supply the wind turbines for the 448 MW Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados) offshore wind farm in Normandy, France. The scope comprised delivery of 64 SWT-7.0-154 offshore wind turbines, with nacelles and blades scheduled to be manufactured at Siemens Gamesa’s facility in Le Havre. The contract also included a 15-year service and maintenance agreement for the turbines.
