DELAYED +1yr (May 2026): Developer (EDF Power Solutions) confirmed across March 2026 press visits and on the developer site: 'installation et mise en service des éoliennes prévue été 2027'. Foundation campaign still in progress (15/64 as of 7 April 2026); turbine install cannot start until a meaningful population of foundations is in place. Year-2026 projection no longer plausible. DELAYED +4yr (May 2026): Original projection (year 2022) inherited from a July 2022 construction-programme document and never refreshed. Per the project's own July 2025 update, foundation installation was still in progress with the Bold Tern (Fred Olsen) jack-up resuming the campaign in August 2025; only 4 of 64 monopiles had been installed by mid-2025. Turbine installation cannot start until a meaningful population of foundations is in place. Consortium target of progressive commissioning from H2 2027 implies turbine installation across 2026-2027. --- Project documentation for the Calvados (Courseulles-sur-Mer) offshore wind farm indicated that offshore turbine installation activities were scheduled to begin in 2022 as part of the overall construction programme.
