On 19 April 2017, the Préfet du Calvados signed an arrêté approving the convention de concession d'occupation du domaine public maritime (CUDPM / DPM concession) concluded between the State and the société Éoliennes offshore du Calvados for the Courseulles-sur-Mer offshore wind farm. The DPM concession is one of the project-wide consents under CG3P L.2124-3, granting exclusive seabed-use rights for the OWF off Courseulles-sur-Mer in Calvados (14) coastal waters. The Conseil d'État on 24 July 2019 (ruling no. 421139) confirmed the validity of the arrêté after appeals by a collective of six associations including Libre-Horizon were rejected by the Cour administrative d'appel de Nantes (ruling of 2 October 2017, no. 16NT03382). A parallel arrêté préfectoral of the same date approved the DPM concession for RTE's grid-connection corridor (recorded as a separate planning_consent_awarded event on the Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados) Export project).</description> </invoke>
