DELAYED +1yr (May 2026): Developer's own actualité (7 April 2026) reports only 15 of 64 monopile foundations installed; Saipem 7000 has temporarily departed for another project. Rate since campaign start (Feb 2025) is ~0.8 foundations/month, well below the ~6/month required to finish 49 remaining within 2026. Consortium and EDF Power Solutions press visits (Mar 2026) reaffirm 'mise en service progressive été 2027' — turbine install starts summer 2027, implying foundations complete by ~H1 2027. Year-precision 2027 is the defensible target. DELAYED +3yr (May 2026): Original projection (year 2023) inherited from a July 2022 construction-programme document and never refreshed. Saipem encountered serious difficulties with a bespoke 1,900 t drilling tool (9 m-diameter vertical sockets, world-first) and only completed the first foundation in January 2025 with Saipem S7000. Per the July 2025 developer update, foundation campaign resumes with Bold Tern from August 2025 and runs through 2025-2026. With consortium target of progressive commissioning H2 2027, full foundation set should be in place by end-2026. --- Planning information for the Calvados (Courseulles-sur-Mer) offshore wind farm stated that installation of all monopile foundations for the turbines was expected to be completed by 2023.
