IPTO/ADMIE has publicly stated that the tender procedure for the two HVDC converter stations at Corinth and Kos — covering design, supply and installation under a single contract package separate from the cable tender — is due to conclude in Q3 2026, implying supplier selection within that window. The original 18 November 2024 tender announcement specified a converter stations budget of €789.1 million and a 36-month construction duration from contract signing. Unlike the cable tender, the converter station tender did not have to be re-launched: the 10 December 2025 cancellation only affected the cable package. ADMIE confirmed the Q3 2026 conclusion target in its FY2025 investor presentation on 8 April 2026, alongside parallel licensing and expropriation work for the converter station footprints.
