As part of the 2020–2024 knowledge-gathering studies for the Centre Manche offshore wind development area, a campaign focused on munitions non explosées (unexploded ordnance, UXO) was carried out in December 2021. This UXO campaign in the Centre Manche zone, relevant to the future Centre Manche 2 wind farm, was conducted and completed within that month to identify and characterise legacy munitions on the seabed, informing subsequent site investigations and project planning.
