Sinay provided environmental baseline study deliverables for the Centre Manche 1 offshore wind project area as part of the wider “état initial de l’environnement” measurement campaigns carried out over the Centre-Manche zone. The scope attributed to Sinay covered the “other compartments” workstream focused on benthic habitats (benthos), environmental quality of the marine environment (including water and sediment quality), ichthyofauna (fish), and underwater noise. According to the project information portal, Sinay produced a preliminary study and associated survey protocols in 2024 for these compartments, defining the methods to be applied during the in-sea measurement campaigns. Sinay also delivered the final campaign report in 2024 for the same compartments, consolidating the results from the environmental sampling and monitoring activities undertaken for the baseline assessment. This work supported the project’s development-stage environmental knowledge building for Centre Manche 1, contributing evidence on marine habitats and receptors and establishing reference conditions prior to construction planning and permitting. The cited page lists these Sinay reports among the key environmental and use studies made available for the Centre-Manche area studies programme.
