A deep geotechnical investigation campaign for the Centre Manche 1 offshore wind farm and its offshore electrical substation began in February 2022. Listed among the project’s key knowledge studies, the campaign (“Campagne géotechnique grande profondeur pour Centre Manche 1 et poste électrique en mer”) is scheduled to run from February 2022 to January 2023, providing detailed information on subsurface conditions needed for the design and siting of the fixed-bottom wind farm and associated offshore substation.
