As part of the knowledge-gathering phase for the Centre Manche offshore wind development area, SHOM carried out a combined bathymetric and sedimentological survey campaign between March and October 2021. This offshore campaign, focused on mapping seabed depths and sediment characteristics within the Centre Manche zone that includes the future Centre Manche 1 wind farm, concluded by October 2021. The completion of this bathymetric and sedimentological work provided initial hydrographic data necessary to inform subsequent technical and environmental studies for the project.
