Føn Energy Services secured inspection and survey contracts covering six offshore wind farms in the Netherlands, including Borssele 5 (Borssele V). Under this multi-site engagement, the company was appointed to perform above-water Balance of Plant (BoP) inspection work together with below-water ROV (remotely operated vehicle) surveys. The scope combined topside/above-water BoP activities with subsea inspection tasks executed using ROVs, supporting condition assessment and ongoing asset integrity management across the participating wind farms. For Borssele V specifically, the work related to inspection and monitoring activities required to support operations and maintenance needs at the offshore wind farm. The appointment was reported in an Offshore Energy article published on 3 December 2025, which noted Føn Energy Services’ contract awards alongside other survey and inspection contracts covering the same group of Dutch offshore wind farms.
