Borssele 3 & 4 reached full commercial operation in February 2021, with all 77 Vestas V164-9.5 MW turbines installed and the 731.5 MW wind farm operating at its intended capacity through the Borssele Beta offshore substation. The project, located about 22 km off Zeeland, is now producing around 3,000 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power approximately 825,000 Dutch households, following on from an official commissioning announcement in early 2021.
