Bladt Industries

Bladt Industries was selected by Ørsted as a foundation fabrication supplier for the Borssele 1+2 offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. Under this package, Bladt Industries’ scope covered the manufacture and delivery of transition pieces for the project’s monopile foundations supporting Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines. The transition pieces form the interface between the monopile and the wind turbine tower, incorporating key structural and functional elements needed for offshore integration. The announcement reported that Bladt Industries, together with EEW OSB, would deliver 35 transition pieces for Borssele 1+2, with additional transition piece procurement planned later in the year. The contract formed part of Ørsted’s broader procurement programme for the project’s main construction work packages and supported the project schedule ahead of fabrication and subsequent offshore construction activities. This role related to the construction phase of Borssele 1+2, which is located off the coast of Zeeland and has a total capacity of 752 MW.
