In October 2017, TenneT contracted HSM Offshore in Schiedam to construct the Borssele Alpha (and Beta) offshore transformer platforms that collect power from Borssele 1 & 2 and evacuate it to shore, with Joulz Energy Solutions subcontracted for integration of the high‑voltage systems on Borssele Alpha.
