By 27 February 2020, Ørsted had appointed Van Oord to transport, install, and bury the 94 inter-array cables for Borssele 1 & 2, deploying its cable‑laying vessel Nexus and trencher Dig‑It to install the Nexans‑supplied 66 kV array system to a burial depth of 2 metres.
