On 7 November 2018, Nexans announced it had been awarded a multimillion-euro contract by Ørsted to supply between 170 km and 190 km of three-phase 66 kV inter-array cables, rated up to 72.5 kV, to connect the turbines to the offshore substations at Borssele 1 & 2.
