Description
Ocean Winds signed an agreement with Tele-Fonika Kable (TFKable Group) for the onshore export cable system for the BC-Wind export connection in Poland. Tele-Fonika Kable’s scope included the design, manufacture and delivery of approximately 23 km of 275 kV high-voltage onshore cables (plus fibre optic cables and dedicated accessories) and comprehensive post-installation testing of the line. The onshore section was described as an approximately 8 km route connecting the sea exit point in the municipality of Choczewo to the onshore power station/substation. Cable manufacturing was planned for Q4 2026 at Tele-Fonika Kable’s Bydgoszcz plant.
