Design documentation and construction permit for 2x 220 kV offshore export cables from the offshore substation to the connection point with the onshore cable section, including sea-to-shore guided drilling (HDD), route optimisation, shore crossings, cable protection, and electrical/thermal analyses.
SEA Global, working in cooperation with Gazprojekt, supported Ocean Winds on the BC-Wind export cable route scope, including coordination and preparation of documentation required for the construction permit application. SEA Global was also tasked with designing the shore crossing using the HDD method and engineering the cable system for this phase of the BC-Wind transmission infrastructure (offshore and onshore export cable route).
