ABL Group (operating as ABL, Oslo: ABL Group ASA) has been appointed by Ocean Winds to provide Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) services for the construction of the 390 MW BC-Wind offshore wind farm in Poland. ABL Germany holds the contract and will manage delivery with support from ABL Group's local presence in Gdańsk and Warsaw and its global Renewables MWS expertise. ABL's scope covers MWS for Transportation and Installation (T&I) activities across the entire offshore scope: the 26 Siemens Gamesa SG 14-236 wind turbines, the inter-array cables, the 27 monopile foundations and transition pieces, the export cable, and the offshore substation. The wider scope includes vessel suitability surveys and assurance for the proposed fleet, technical review of project documentation through development and construction, and on-site surveillance of onshore and offshore marine operations. The engagement runs from 2026 to 2028, spanning DEME's foundation and cable installation campaigns, Seaway7's transition piece and OSS topside installation, and Cadeler's turbine installation campaign from Port of Gdańsk. The appointment follows ABL's earlier engagement on Baltica-2 and expands the group's footprint in Poland's offshore wind sector.
