The BC-Wind project schedule published by Ocean Winds sets 2027 as the year when offshore construction will commence at the wind farm site in the Polish Baltic Sea. This milestone follows the start of onshore construction in 2026 and the 2025 building permit and Final Investment Decision. Offshore construction will involve mobilisation of installation vessels to the site approximately 23 km north of Krokowa and Choczewo and will encompass installation of monopile foundations, export and inter-array cables, and the offshore substation. The timeline positions offshore works in 2027 ahead of first power planned for 2028.
