For the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms, Equinor and Polenergia expect to commence installation of the Siemens Gamesa SG 14‑236 DD wind turbines in 2027. According to the construction schedule, turbine installation will be underway in 2027 in parallel with outfitting of the offshore substations. This follows the 2026 campaign focused on monopiles, transition pieces, subsea cables and substation components. First electricity from the projects is planned for 2027, with full commercial power production targeted for 2028.
