According to project information from Equinor and Polenergia, the topsides of the two offshore substations for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms are planned to be installed in separate campaigns during 2026 and 2027. The overall offshore works, including foundations and substations, are contracted to Heerema Marine Contractors. A later update notes that in 2027 the offshore substations will be outfitted in parallel with turbine installation. For Bałtyk 3, this means its offshore substation topside is expected to be lifted onto the pre-installed jacket and equipped offshore by 2027, completing the main structural and systems installation required to collect and export power from the wind farm.
