The start of offshore cable works for Bałtyk 3 is planned for around the end of the second quarter of 2026. Seaway7 has an EPCI contract for 66 kV inter‑array cables serving Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, and SPIE Wind Connect has been contracted to undertake termination and testing of the inter‑array cable systems linking the wind turbine generators to the offshore substations. SPIE indicates that its main offshore campaign will be initiated towards the end of Q2 2026, with activities including routing, termination, fibre‑optic splicing and high‑voltage testing of the subsea cables. In parallel, Equinor and Polenergia state that installation of export and inter‑array cables will follow the start of foundation works in 2026, meaning Bałtyk 3’s offshore cable installation campaign is expected to commence in mid‑2026.
