Description
Visser & Smit Hanab, the Dutch HDD specialist (part of the VolkerWessels group), was contracted by Equinor and Polenergia on 17 September 2024 to perform four Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) bores and install four cable ducts for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 export cable landfalls. Per the Polenergia announcement: "Visser & Smit Hanab, within the signed contract, will perform four HDD and install four cable ducts to install export cables and bring power onshore."
