Turbine installation on the Bałtyk 2 offshore wind farm is planned to commence in 2027. After completion of foundation, cable and initial offshore substation works in 2026, Equinor and Polenergia state that the installation of wind turbines will be underway in 2027 alongside the outfitting of the offshore substations. Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 together will feature 100 Siemens Gamesa SG 14‑236 DD turbines with a combined capacity of 1,440 MW, and the 2027 turbine campaign is scheduled to prepare the project for first electricity export the same year and full commercial generation in 2028.
