Equinor and Polenergia plan to install the topsides of the two offshore substations for Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 in separate campaigns across 2026 and 2027. Following completion of jacket and monopile foundations in 2026, heavy-lift vessels will lift the substation topsides onto their foundations and carry out associated offshore outfitting. As the installation window spans two years, this event is dated to the end of 2027, by which time topside installation for Bałtyk 2’s offshore substation is expected to be complete, enabling subsequent commissioning ahead of first power.
