Topside installation for the two offshore substations that will collect and export power from Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 is planned to take place in separate campaigns during 2026 and 2027. Following installation of the monopile and jacket foundations in 2026, Heerema Marine Contractors will use heavy-lift vessels to install the transformer platform topsides onto their foundations. This phased programme will run alongside turbine installation and offshore substation outfitting, preparing the offshore electrical infrastructure needed for first power and later full commercial operation.
