First electricity export from the Bałtyk 2 offshore wind farm is planned for 2027, in parallel with its twin project Bałtyk 3. Equinor and Polenergia, the 50/50 joint venture developers, indicate that the two 720 MW projects will reach initial grid energisation and begin delivering power ahead of full commercial operations. At the time of the April 2026 update, offshore and onshore construction activities were underway, including subsea rock installation, onshore substations near Ustka, and the operations and maintenance base in Łeba. Based on this progress, the developers state that first power to the Polish grid is expected in 2027 for the combined 1,440 MW Bałtyk 2 and 3 complex, with Bałtyk 2 contributing around half of this capacity.
