Full commercial operation of the Bałtyk 2 offshore wind farm is scheduled for 2028, aligned with its sister project Bałtyk 3. Developed by Equinor and Polenergia in the Polish exclusive economic zone of the Baltic Sea, the two 720 MW projects will together provide 1,440 MW of installed capacity. Following first power expected in 2027, the developers plan to complete commissioning and ramp up to full output during 2028. Once in commercial operation, Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 are expected to supply renewable electricity to over 2 million Polish households, contributing significantly to Poland’s energy transition and energy security.
