PGE plans for the combined Baltica 9+ offshore wind development – consisting of the 975 MW Baltica 9 project in basin 44.E.1 and the adjacent FEW Baltic II project of around 350 MW – to reach full commercial operation by 2032. The 1.3 GW wind farm will be located in the western part of the Słupsk Bank in the Polish Baltic Sea, about 48 kilometres from the coast and within the operational range of PGE’s O&M base in Ustka. Following the award of a two‑sided Contract for Difference to Baltica 9 in Poland’s first offshore wind auction and the conditional agreement to acquire FEW Baltic II from RWE, PGE refers to the resulting Baltica 9+ project as an offshore wind farm "to be built by 2032", indicating the targeted commissioning timeframe for delivering its full installed capacity into commercial service.
