DELAYED +4yr (May 2026): Baltica 7 was not entered in Poland's first offshore wind CfD auction concluded on 17 December 2025 (URE official communique lists only Baltica 9 from PGE among bidders; Baltica 7 is held for the next auction round, expected 2027). Without a CfD the project cannot reach FID, and Phase III construction in Poland is contingent on prior environmental decision (DUŚ) — Baltica 7 holds only the PSzW location permit (May 2023) and grid connection terms. Assuming a 2027 CfD win and FID in 2028-2029, offshore construction start is reset to year-end 2030 with year precision; will be revisited after the 2027 auction outcome and DUŚ decision. --- Baltica 7, also known as the Baltica 7 Offshore Wind Project or PGE Baltica 4, is a planned 990 MW offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic Sea. According to the project profile, construction of the single-phase offshore wind project is expected to start in 2026. The wind farm will cover an area of about 118 km² and is being developed and owned by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Tauron Polska Energia, with stakes of 55.04% and 44.96% respectively. The 2026 construction start is presented as a forecast rather than a confirmed milestone, reflecting the current planning assumptions for when offshore installation activities at the site will commence.
