ROMGOS Gwiazdowscy

A consortium of ROMGOS Gwiazdowscy and ZRB Janicki was contracted by PGE and Ørsted in February 2024 to execute Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) under the beach at Lubiatowo (Choczewo commune, Wejherowo County) and construct four underground transition joint bays (TJBs) connecting the offshore 275 kV export cables with the onshore cable route. Each HDD channel is approximately 1.2 km long with a 90 cm outside diameter, routed at 20-30 m depth to preserve the beach and coastal environment. Cable installation itself is being carried out under a separate contract.
