In September 2024, PGE, Ørsted and Istrana signed a lease agreement for the future T5 terminal in the Port of Gdansk to support Baltica 2. The terminal will be used for storage, pre-assembly and offshore installation of wind turbine components for the project. Securing this port capacity establishes the main construction logistics base for the 1.5 GW offshore wind farm, enabling efficient handling and staging of large turbine and foundation components.
