DNV was appointed as component certification body for Baltica 2 in December 2023. Under this contract, DNV will certify all major components of the wind farm to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements prior to installation. The scope covers items such as turbines, foundations, cables and substations, providing independent assurance on design and manufacturing quality for the 1.5 GW Polish offshore project.
