In May 2023, Ørsted and PGE appointed a contract engineer for the onshore grid connection of Baltica 2. A consortium comprising Biuro Studiów, Projektów i Realizacji "Energoprojekt‑Katowice" SA and Energopomiar was selected to oversee investor supervision of the land connection works. The consortium will supervise both the line and station elements of the onshore connection infrastructure, supporting quality, schedule and interface management between the project company and the general contractor.
