In October 2023, Steelwind Nordenham was contracted to supply monopile foundations for the Baltica 2 offshore wind turbines. These large-diameter monopiles will provide the primary structural support for the 107 Siemens Gamesa 14 MW-222 units in the Baltic Sea. The award further expands the project’s foundation supply chain, complementing earlier contracts with Navantia‑Windar and securing manufacturing capacity for the full set of turbine and offshore substation monopiles.
