In June 2023, the Baltica 2 joint venture of Ørsted and PGE awarded foundation supply contracts for the project. The partners signed agreements with the Navantia‑Windar consortium to deliver foundations for the 1.5 GW wind farm. These contracts cover fabrication of monopile structures that will support the 107 Siemens Gamesa turbines and associated offshore substations, marking a key step in locking down the steel supply chain for the Polish offshore project.
