The monopile foundation installation campaign for Baltica 2 is scheduled to run through to the fourth quarter of 2026. According to Ørsted and PGE, Van Oord’s installation scope covers 111 monopiles, comprising 107 turbine foundations and four for the offshore substations. The campaign, which started with the first foundations being installed in May 2026, will continue until late 2026, by which time all planned monopile foundations are expected to be in place at the site approximately 40 km off the Polish coast. Completion of this campaign will provide the structural basis for both wind turbines and offshore substations ahead of subsequent cable and turbine installation phases.
