Boskalis secured major EPCI-style contracts for the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm covering transportation and installation of both export and inter-array cables. Announced on 5 September 2023, the scope includes laying more than 150 km of array cables and nearly 300 km of 275 kV export cables, as well as seabed preparation such as levelling, pre-trenching and boulder removal, plus post-lay rock placement to protect cable protection systems. Boskalis will deploy multiple specialised vessels, including cable-laying and rock installation units, to execute the works off the Polish coast between Łeba and Ustka.
