In October 2022, Ørsted and PGE secured the environmental decision (DŚU) and associated conditions for constructing the cable corridor and connection infrastructure serving the Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 offshore wind farms. The decision, issued by RDOŚ Gdańsk, covers the route of the export cables and related connection assets that will bring power ashore and into the Polish grid. The project website records 2022 as the year when the environmental decision for the connection infrastructure was issued, while later reporting specifies that the investors have held the necessary consent and conditions for the cable corridor since October 2022.
