Baltica 2 is planned to reach full commercial operation in 2027. Ørsted and PGE, which are developing, building and will operate the 1.5 GW offshore wind farm on a 50/50 basis, state that the project is expected to be fully commissioned in 2027. Project information on the Baltica website also labels 2027 as the commercial operational date for Baltica 2. The wind farm, located about 40 km off the Polish coast between Łeba and Ustka, will comprise 107 Siemens Gamesa 14 MW-222 turbines and four offshore substations, with power exported to the Polish grid via new onshore infrastructure in the Choczewo area. Once in full operation, Baltica 2 is expected to supply green electricity to around 2.4–2.5 million Polish households, becoming the largest offshore wind farm in Poland.
