Ørsted and PGE selected Orient Cable (NBO) as supplier of inter-array cables for Baltica 2 in June 2023. Under contracts signed with the joint venture, Orient Cable will deliver approximately 170 km of 66 kV subsea array cables that will connect the 107 turbines to the project’s offshore substations. This award secures a critical electrical component package and enables detailed engineering of the internal collector network for the 1.5 GW Polish offshore wind farm.
