Survey Other Start

In September 2022, PGE Group commenced environmental survey works for the approximately 900 MW Baltica 1 offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic Sea. The surveys mark the start of detailed site investigations for the project, which is located about 80 kilometres from the Polish coast, north of the Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 areas. These environmental investigations form part of the early development phase needed to characterise site conditions, support permitting, and refine project design ahead of later-stage engineering and construction decisions. The surveys are an important step for Baltica 1, which already held a location permit (seabed siting consent) and a grid connection agreement by this point.
