By the end of 2024, preliminary geotechnical campaigns for the Baltica 1 offshore wind farm had been carried out both offshore and along the future export cable route. Geoquip Marine executed a seabed geotechnical campaign to characterise the offshore soil structure where Baltica 1 will be built. At the same time, onshore and offshore investigations needed to plan horizontal directional drilling and other land‑sea works were performed by a Polish consortium led by Geofizyka Toruń. Completion of these campaigns provided key ground‑condition data for the connection infrastructure and overall project design.
