Description
NKT signed an order from Baltic Power Sp. z.o.o. to design and produce the offshore export power cable system for the Baltic Power offshore wind farm grid connection in Poland. The scope covered a 230 kV high-voltage AC XLPE export cable system including accessories, described as four circuits of approximately 32 km each, with an overall supplied length of approximately 130 km. Manufacturing was planned at NKT’s facility in Cologne, Germany, with project commissioning expected by 2026.
