DELAYED +9mo (May 2026): Q1 2026 has closed (today 2026-05-24) without a sourced OSS commissioning confirmation. Northland Power Q1 2026 results dated 2026-05-13 confirm OSS topsides installed October 2025 and all four export cables plus all inter-array cables installed during Q1 2026, so OSS infrastructure is electrically connected, but the press release does not name OSS commissioning as a discrete completed milestone. Original projection from 2023-10-12 Bladt+Semco EPCI announcement ('final commissioning planned for early 2026') has passed. Pushing projection to align with overall COD ('on track for commercial operations in the second half of 2026') until a fresher OSS-specific source surfaces. --- In October 2023, Bladt Industries and Semco Maritime reported that the two offshore substations for the Baltic Power offshore wind farm are planned to reach final commissioning in early 2026. Under an EPCI contract awarded by the Baltic Power joint venture of ORLEN Group and Northland Power, the consortium, supported by ISC Consulting Engineers, is responsible for detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the substations. Each topside, weighing about 2,500 tonnes and standing around 20 metres above sea level on its foundations, will form part of the electrical infrastructure for the 76 Vestas 15 MW turbines. The statement that final commissioning is planned for early 2026 indicates the targeted timeframe for bringing both offshore substations into operational readiness, though at the time of the 2023 announcement this milestone had not yet occurred.
