Baltic Power, a joint venture offshore wind project developed by ORLEN Group and Northland Power in the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea, is scheduled to reach full commercial operation in late 2026. The project has a capacity of approximately 1.2 GW from 76 turbines and is located about 23 km off the coast near Choczewo and Łeba, covering an area of roughly 130 km². Once complete, Baltic Power is expected to generate around 4 TWh of electricity per year, equivalent to about 3% of Poland’s current national demand. As of early 2026, all 78 monopile foundations have been installed and major construction activities are well advanced offshore and onshore, with commissioning and grid connection targeted so that the wind farm becomes operational by the end of 2026.
